WOLF method is built out of my practice of coaching in Lean Six Sigma Methodology and Project Development from the past 7+ years, mostly with New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority 5 agencies’ strategic Priorities in respectively:
- NYCT: the New York City Subway, the Staten Island Railway, and the New York City Bus network. These are the major components of the public transportation system within the five boroughs of New York City.
- Bridges & Tunnels: Seven toll bridges and two tunnels in New York City. These crossings include the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge, Henry Hudson Bridge, Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge, Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge, and Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, as well as the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel and Queens-Midtown Tunnel
- Construction and Development: Planning, building, and improving the MTA's vast network of subways, buses, commuter rails, bridges, and tunnels. This involves identifying, prioritizing, and developing capital infrastructure projects to ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transit for all users.
- Commuter rails: Long Island Rail Road (LIRR): Serving Long Island and parts of New York City. The LIRR is the busiest commuter railroad in North America, according to Liberty Moving & Storage. It operates 11 routes.
Metro-North Railroad: Serving areas north of New York City in New York State and Connecticut. Metro-North operates 8 routes.

Since July of 2018 I have had the pleasure of serving as one of the 2 coaches in the Authority's home-grown Lean Six Sigma Program!
We enrolled cohorts of employees annually in 3 levels - Yellow, Green and Black belt - and provided mentorship on how to translate book-knowledge (From online Lean Six Sigma training provider) to a Live MTA Project, delivering measurable results based on data-driven decision making.
Employees joined the program from all walks of work-experience, skills and education background, stage in career and future aspirations - with only 2 requirements:
1. Have approval of a manager to dedicate 10% of their time for 6 months (*Yellow belt)
2. WANT to work on a live-project - underperforming process in their day-to-day job, so they are personally invested in improving it and with that balancing their work & life.
As the ENTRY level (yellow belt) coach:
1.The biggest impact I made was in TRANSLATING the new knowledge into familiar references - thus providing a bridge into already existing practices and aiding in the team project’s progress.
2. I realized coaching in LSS was my true calling, when I first witnessed the effect on my trainees' personal development and confidence-boosting, these milestones I helped them achieve had, and in so many areas beyond the scope of the project, including stakeholder management, data-collection and analysis, writing for results, presentation skills, etc.
3. My ABSOLUTE personal favorite, I never get tired of witnessing is the moment of realizing their LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME, as now they SEE EVERYTHING IS A PROCESS - therefore - as something that CAN BE IMPROVED --> a CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MINDSET is born!
